To prevent such errors, you must always keep your PC updated with the latest hotfixes, services packs, and security updates released by software manufacturers such as Microsoft and Symantec.

Cleanup And Defrag Your Hard Disk

This tool is your one-stop solution to delete unwanted files, empty the Recycle Bin, uninstall unwanted programs, and delete obsolete system-restore points. After you have cleaned the hard disk, use the Disk Defragmenter tool—also included in Windows XP and Windows Vista computers—to consolidate the fragmented files and optimize the disk for better and trouble-free performance.

Perform Regular Antivirus And Antispyware Scans

Although I read a lot of antivirus reviews, I still use the old microsoft security essentials that came with my windows 7. Do you think that’s good enough?
