Killer Spyware The Growing Online Threat

March 26, 2012/0 Comments/in Spyware /by admin

Killer Spyware has reached plague proportions on the internet.

Every day more and more computers are coming online giving this killer spyware more and more places to hide and infect.

Killer Spyware The Growing Online ThreatMost computers are sold today with standard protection installed, this is usually an anti-virus program and some sort of firewall protection.

Whether this is Microsoft Windows firewall or some trial version that was downloaded when you purchased your PC.

The problem starts however when you have been online for a few months and the trial versions start to expire. As with most people it is just to much trouble to register or we have the I will get to it later syndrome.

Of course we never do get to it until it is just to late.

Once that Killer Spyware has struck and you are finding that your bank account has been compromised or you email is being used for criminal activities it is way to late to say that I was going to renew or download that software.

Killer Spyware, How You Are Infected

Web sites where you can play or download games or the many free music download sites are known for the greatest ratio of spyware and malware infections. These web sites primarily use this information for target advertising purposes; once this type of adware or spyware is installed it records a user’s surfing habits and transmits this information to a third party.

Any music, or adult web sites that you use for file downloads is placing you at risk of infecting your computer with killer spyware. Remember “Nothing In Life Is Free” and if you choose to download free or cracked programs you are running the risk of an adware spyware infection.

Having An Anti-Virus Program Or Firewall Is Just Not Enough Today…

Virus checking or scanning your machine with a virus checker can remove any virus related spyware. Microsoft’s Anti-spyware isn’t out of beta yet, and already the virus and spyware writers are on the attack. You need to understand that a virus is a virus, but spyware is not as simple, killer spyware is after your details not a virus which is just a destructive program.

Killer Spyware is becoming more and more advanced in the pursuit of your private and personal information. You need to take action and get protected.

You may have an anti-virus installed but it will not detect spyware if it is not designed to do this.

My Firewall Will Stop These Illegal Killer Spyware Installs…

This is neither correct or a safe way to think when it comes to killer spyware. You as the users are the ones unknowingly inviting these killer spyware programs onto your computers. Have you visited music sites or maybe you have been downloading files from a peer-to-peer file sharing site or program, if you have chances are there will be spyware hiding on your computer.

Managing your Browser with Spyware Adware

Deleting cookies from your browser can help spyware related problems on your computer. Firefox is probably a better browser choice and is growing popularity but this will only be so until the really nasty spyware emerges.

Also, if enough people start using a particular browser, it will eventually become targeted for spyware . Why, because where the people are is where the money is.

This goes for all kinds of spyware, malware, adware, browser hijackers, dialers and other assorted programs that are trying to steal from you.

If you are experiencing problems with your current default browser I would consider downloading and installing Firefox.

Keyloggers – Killer Spyware

In extreme cases, some forms of killer spyware will even monitor a user’s typing and capture personal details or even banking details and passwords this is known as a keylogger. This to me is the worst kind of killer spyware it gathers personal information about you from your computer and sends it to a server designated by its creator to be sold on to third parties or worst still to be used in some form of cyber crime.

Free Spyware Scan

Installing a reputable adware spyware remover program prevents killer spyware from sending passwords, customer information and other confidential data outside of your organization or personal home computer.

Killer Spyware is a malicious program that is trying to invade your PRIVACY, attempting to Steal Your IDENTITY, and destroying your valuable computer.
